This sweet little bag was made for a bridal shower that featured a Christmas theme. Filled with a votive candle and holder and truffles, it made a one-of-a-kind remembrance. Measuring 4" x 8", it ties with satin ribbons. This can be made with a fabric of your choice. Although made for a bridal shower, think how cute it would be using a baby print for a shower to welcome a new arrival.

Tie Vest
Yes, this vest is made from neckties. Since more and more companies are adopting a business casual look, old neckties need "a home." The vests are fully lined and have elastic in the back to help provide a good fit.These can be made using my ties or, for a special vest, ties belonging to a family member. The ties are sewn together by hand. A binding for around the front and arm holes is made from unused pieces of the ties. Because some of the ties are silk, dry-cleaning is recommended.

Bring the tropics to where ever you are in this jacket featuring brightly colored tropical fish swimming among the seaweed. The jacket appears to be a comfy sweatshirt but it features a wind-resistant lining and drawstring around the hem. It will keep you warm on blustery fall days while reminding you of summer days.

Best Friends Tote
Tote and Blanket
Does you best friend travel with you? This tote is perfect to take his or her favorite toys, food, treats and any other necessities. The tote can be made with a frame to put a picture of your special friend in or an appliqued sihouette of your particular breed. If you choose the frame, a clear insert protects that special picture and is high-lighted with buttons shaped like dog bones on each corner. The tote is generously sized at 20" wide by 18 1/2" high and fully lined with a zippered pocket to protect necessities. Double straps are long enough so you can carry it easily when your hands are full. Also included with the tote is a 56" x 56" fleece blanket with appliqued dog bones on each corner to keep your friend warm or to have something familiar.

Boys Chistening Outfit
This wedding gown was used to make a christening outfit for a baby boy (below). A christening gown will be made at a later date. Both garments will be used for all the babies in the family. Using a family wedding gown to make christening gowns or outfits creates an instant heirloom. And how much more special these garments are than those purchased in a store!
